CAD Programming ~ Within our CAD department we are equipped with a parasolid based hybrid surface and solid modelling system capable of receiving and processing the following client driven CAD data. IGES DXF, DWG, SAT solid models VDA – FS Parasolid - Binary or text up to level 14.0 Catia V4 & V5 up to release 13 - 3D model files Catia V4 - 2D Pro Engineer .PRT files STEP STL – binary or text Laser generated point clouds – IGES & RIS Urbanhurst are able to offer a full range of programming capabilities covering 2 ½ D, fourth axis as well as full 3D surface machining. CNC port boring for racing engines is a particular speciality.
